Ceftazidime is used to treat a wide variety of bacterial infection bacterial infections. It works by stopping the growth of bacteria.
Ceftazidime injection is used to treat certain infections caused by bacteria including pneumonia and other lower respiratory tract (lung) infections; meningitis (infection of the membranes that surround the brain and spinal cord) and other brain and spinal cord infections; and abdominal (stomach area), skin, blood, bone, joint, female genital tract, and urinary tract infections. Ceftazidime injection is in a class of medications called cephalosporin antibiotics. It works by killing bacteria. this injection reduces, Skin and soft tissue infections, Bone and joint infections, Bacterial endocarditis, etc.
