DEXAMETHASONE+MOXIFLOXACIN belongs to the class of ocular medications called ‘antibiotics’ used to treat inflammation associated with bacterial eye infections. It treats eye infections like conjunctivitis (infected conjunctiva) and other inflammatory conditions after eye surgery.How IT works?
this is a combination of two medicines: Moxifloxacin and Dexamethasone. Moxifloxacin is an antibiotic which prevents bacterial cells from dividing and repairing, thereby killing the bacteria. This treats your infection. Dexamethasone is a steroid which blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that cause redness, swelling and itching. drop contains the antibiotic moxifloxacin hydrochloride, and the anti-inflammatory dexamethasone phosphate (steroid).
