Meropenem Sulbactum Injection 1.5gm (Inpenm-S 1.5gm) is a combination of two medicines: Meropenem & Sulbactum injection . it is an antibiotic. It works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering which is essential for the survival of bacteria in the human body. Sulbactam 500 mg is a beta-lactamase inhibitor that blocks the action of enzymes produced by bacteria to inactivate Meropenem 1000 mg. The addition of Sulbactum 500 mg reduces resistance and enhances the activity of Meropenem 1000 mg against bacteria.

Meropenem 1000 mg Sulbactum 500 mg injection is used in the treatment of severe bacterial infections.
