Ceftiofur Sodium Injection (Welfur-1gm)

Ceftiofur Sodium Powder for Injection is a cephalosporin antibiotic used against gram positive and negative bacteria such as the β-lactamase-producing strains.

It uses a broad range of in vitro activity to fight a variety of pathogens and including Streptococcus, Pasteurella, Staphylococcus, E.coli, and Salmonella. Ceftiofur works by inhibiting cell wall synthesis in the bacteria.

It can treat Manheimia haemolytica and Pasteurella multocida; two pathogens associated with bovine respiratory diseases such as pneumonia and shipping fever. It has excellent in vitro and in vivo activity towards those two diseases. It can also treat foot rot and pododermatitis in cattle and it can treat respiratory disease in horses.
