Introduction:

Betadine mint gargle contains povidone-iodine which kills a wide range of germs including bacteria, viruses, fungi, spores, and simple organisms. Use Betadine mint gargle only in the mouth as a gargle. Do not swallow. Always dilute the gargle with water. Swish part of the solution briefly in the mouth for 30 seconds, and spit it out. Repeat the same every 2-4 hours or as directed by your physician/dentist.

Is Betadine mint gargle safe to use?

Yes. It is considered safe to use and does not cause any side effects.

• Use Betadine mint gargle orally as a gargle or as a mouth wash.
• Pour Betadine mint gargle into the cup. Dilute with an equal amount of warm water if the taste is an issue.
• Swish part of the solution briefly in the mouth and spit it out.
• Tilt your head backward and gargle for a total of 30 seconds via swirling the liquid in the throat.
• Spit out the solution. Repeat every 2-4 hours or as directed by your physician/dentist or pharmacist.
• If you accidentally swallow any betadine mint gargle, seek medical advice immediately, taking the bottle with you.
• Do not use this medicine if you are allergic to povidone-iodine or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.
• Do not use this gargle in children under 6 years of age.
