Methyl Ergometrine IP Injection (I-Memo)

A highly valuable ecbolic to stimulate the Uterus and hasten parturition After the parturition, the Mettle vet is helpful in the treatment of Retention of the Placenta and to induce the involution of the uterus. It treats sociometry and puerperal bleeding. It is helpful in abortion cases as well, as an aid for flushing out the lochial discharge.

Administration & Dosage:

By IM/ IV /SC use only.

As directed by the Veterinarian. 

• For Large Animals: Active Management of the third stage of labor: 5 to 10 ml
• The drug should be given I.V. slowly following the delivery of the anterior shoulder or at the latest immediately after delivery of the calf. (Only after the third stage of parturition)
• Post-Parturition Treatment: 3 to 5 ml daily for three to five days after parturition by I/M
• For Small Animals: 0.2  0.4 mg ( 1  2 ml
