Methycobaamine 500 Injection (Intebion-500)
1 ml belongs to a group ‘Vitamins’ which is used in the treatment of peripheral neuropathies, megaloblastic anaemia caused by vitamin B12 deficiency. Vitamin B12 is a vital dietary nutrient and deficiency of vitamin B12 can lead to peripheral neuropathy, megaloblastic anaemia, and many other serious conditions.
Injection 1 ml contains a form of vitamin B12, which helps to protect the nerves from damage and also helps to promote blood cell production. It regulates body functions, such as cell multiplication, blood formation, and protein synthesis.
You are advised to take Injection 1 ml for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you depending on your medical condition. In some cases, you may experience certain common side effects such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, and headache. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if you have signs of an allergic reaction such as swelling of the face, lips, or tongue, breathing problems.
To treat your condition effectually, continue taking Injection for as long as your doctor has prescribed. Please do not stop taking Injection 1 ml without consulting your doctor. Directions for Use
Take it with or without food. Swallow Injection of 1 ml as a whole with a glass of water; do not chew, or break the tablet. You are advised to take an Injection 1 ml for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you depending on your medical condition. If you are using
Injection 1 ml in a lozenge, disintegrating tablet or sublingual tablet form do not swallow the whole of it. Instead, allow it to dissolve in your mouth without chewing. If you are using a sublingual tablet then it should be kept under the tongue. Injection: A healthcare professional will administer the injection, so do not self-administer. It is injected into a muscle, maybe 1 to 3 times per week.
