DESCRIPTION
Cefpodoxime is an oral third generation cephalosporin antibiotic. It is active against most Gram positive and Gram negative bacteria. It is commonly used to treat acute otitis media, phar
Uses

Intepod-Cv-325 is a cephalosporin antibiotic used to treat a variety of bacterial based infections. It works by targeting the bacteria and inhibiting its function, preventing further growth or strengthening.

Please note that this medication should not be taken to treat viral infections such as colds or flus.

Dosage and Administration
Always dose as advised by your healthcare professional. Do not self-medicate, and never alter your dose without the advice of a healthcare professional.

It is normally for a patient to dose twice a day, with 12 hour intervals. Dosing should usually be done with a meal of snack of some kind to aid absorption.

Always finish your full course of medication even if your infection appears cured. Infections can return stronger and more resistant to medication if they are not completely eliminated the first time, and will be harder to treat effectively.

yngitis, and sinusitis. Cefpodoxime proxetil is a prodrug which is absorbed and de-esterified by the intestinal mucosa to Cefpodoxime.
SIDE EFFECTS
Gastrointestinal symptoms including stomach and abdominal pain, vomiting, and diarrhea. Rash, hyperactivity, or drowsiness have also been observed in a small number of patients
INDICATION
For the treatment of patients with mild to moderate infections caused by susceptible strains of the designated microorganisms.

Clavulanic acid and its salts and esters. The acid is a suicide inhibitor of bacterial beta-lactamase enzymes from Streptomyces clavuligerus. Administered alone, it has only weak antibacterial activity against most organisms, but given in combination with beta-lactam antibiotics prevents antibiotic inactivation by microbial lactamase.
